Christmas in 5 Letters

Christmas in 5 Letters is just a few weeks away!

On Friday, December 19 from 5–8pm, we’re opening our doors for a simple, beautiful walk-through experience of the Christmas story — a perfect event to bring friends, neighbors, and families who may not already have a church home.

If you’re planning to come, please take a moment to sign up. Signing up helps our team prepare and make the evening welcoming for everyone.

You can grab extra invite cards from inside Seedlings or in the entry — we have plenty! Someone in your life might just need a gentle invitation to a peaceful, hope-filled evening this Christmas season.

Christmas Meal Box Outreach

Christmas is coming, and we’re grateful for another opportunity to bless our community through our Christmas Meal Box Outreach!

You can sign yourself up — or even sign up a friend — to receive a meal box with everything needed for a Christmas dinner. Just click the button below to fill out the quick form.

If you’re signing up someone who doesn’t attend Roots, we simply ask that you meet them here on pickup day so you can help make that personal connection. Signups close December 17, and pickup will be Saturday, December 20 from 11am to noon right here at the church.

Be a blessing to others...

This Christmas, we also have the opportunity to bless students at Victor Schools. In the entry on the big Christmas tree there are gift tags—each tag lists a student’s age and a simple wish list. Just grab a tag, purchase one or more of the items, wrap the gifts, and return them with the tag attached by Sunday, December 21. We’ll deliver everything to Victor School on December 22. Thank you for helping us love our neighbors well this season!

Christmas Eve Services

We’d love for you to join us on Christmas Eve as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together. We’ll have two services — one at 5pm and another at 7pm — and you’re welcome at either one. After each service, we invite you to linger in the Commons for cookies, coffee, and a chance to enjoy the photo booth we’ll have set up for Christmas pictures.

These will be family services, so all children are welcome in the Sanctuary. We won’t be offering childcare that evening so that all of our kids ministry volunteers can enjoy the service with their families.

We look forward to celebrating Christmas Eve with you!
